Each year, the world's biggest advertisers converge on the Newfronts to be wined, dined and wow'd by the worlds biggest online platforms, vying for billions of dollars in ad revenue. From late 2020 to present, Mile 80 has partnered with Freeman to help the Amazon brand resonate with ad execs.
The challenges vary from year to year, with our output matching accordingly. In 2021, the in-person show was scrapped in favor of a pandemic-friendly virtual show, where we'd have to earn attention from execs watching from their couches. In 2022 and 2023 we worked alongside Freeman to position the event for a "new normal.”
We worked with the Freeman company to elevate the opening video to something that brought the audience alive at the start of the show. We were also lucky enough to collaborate on the motion elements for the keynote as well.
Each year, core to our success is the management and delivery of hundreds if not thousands of files, all neatly project managed, creating organization for client teams and agency partners while providing streamlined communication for our global creative team working 24 hours a day. From storytelling to editorial to creative direction, post-production and even final delivery of all files.
With billions of dollars on the line, the Amazon Newfronts continue to drive year-over-year growth for Amazon Ads, positioning the company's programming and technology as best-in-class. Each year, our responsibilities have grown and evolved, and in 2024, we are grateful to partner with Freeman to help with content and scenic design for the Amazon Upfronts, as Amazon makes its debut.
